Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the GDPR.
Who is responsible
This website is run by Mosun Owo-Odusi, who is responsible (the “data controller”) for personal information collected through it. You can raise any privacy question or request through the contact form.
What is collected and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. These are used only to read and reply to your enquiry. They are processed with your consent, given when you send the form, and in the legitimate interest of responding to people who get in touch.
- Technical information. Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically records basic technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not set its own cookies. It does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who your information is shared with
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages by email.
- Google (Gmail), where Mosun Owo-Odusi receives your message.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google Drive. Some videos and video preview images on the Media page are hosted on Google Drive. When that page loads, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
- LinkedIn, only if you choose to follow a link to the LinkedIn profile.
These providers are based outside Nigeria, mainly in the United States, so your information may be processed there under their own privacy and security commitments.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of correspondence, and are then deleted. Hosting logs are kept for the short period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to:
- see the personal information held about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it deleted;
- restrict or object to how it is used;
- receive a copy in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before.
To make a request, use the contact form. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Visitors in the UK or EU have similar rights under the GDPR and can complain to their local data protection authority.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the contact form is protected against automated spam. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through the form.
Children
This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
